Publications

Tourism BC publishes a variety of consumer publications to assist potential visitors in planning their BC vacation experience. These guides include the Vacation Planner, the Outdoor Adventure Guide and the Approved Accommodations Guide. By advertising in the publications best suited to your business and target market, tourism businesses can reach a wide audience of consumers who are planning a trip to British Columbia.

Advertising opportunities are available in all of the publications listed here, with the exception of the BC Road Map & Parks Guide.  

Outdoor Adventure Guide

OAG-2009

The Outdoor Adventure Guide offers comprehensive information on land, water and winter outdoor adventures, from the guided tour to the do-it-yourself excursion. A new addition are maps of key activities making the guide even more user-friendly.

Distribution

A total of 150,000 guides are distributed through Visitor Centres, mail fulfillment through 1-800 HELLO BC and HelloBC.com enquiries, trade and consumer shows, tour operators and travel agents. The Outdoor Adventure Guide is also available as an e-guide (downloadable PDF) on HelloBC.com.

BC Road Maps and Parks

This comprehensive map features updated highway and detailed provincial park information. The Road Map is sold through Visitor Centres and is also available at discounted rates for tourism businesses that wish to provide maps to their customers free of charge.
